About Me

For years, I struggled to recognize myself as a writer, but I knew I had a story to tell. I had a desire to write and share my work, but I didn’t believe my writing was good enough or that anyone would care. When I went to my first writing class, I felt so small that I quit.

Then I Realized Something

The problem was not with my words; it was with my worthiness. I felt small and afraid and doubted that I was a ‘real writer.’ No amount of classes or coaching or workshops was going to fix this. The key lesson I learned that made all the difference was this: When I banished the limiting beliefs that told me I was not enough and embraced the true value of what I had to say, everything changed. My writing began to flow, and I was published EVERYWHERE, including my dream outlets. Women too often try to write but give up because they believe they don’t have the skills or time or energy or focus or creativity to share their story. This is not true. What is true is that our limiting beliefs keep us stuck.

Why? Because of Doubt and Fear.

Doubt makes us think we don’t have what it takes to get our story written. Fear makes us afraid of being judged: that our writing is ‘bad,’ or that our voice isn’t "good enough."

Together, Doubt and Fear make us quit.

But there are ways to find your voice and share your story - while also feeling confident and creative, supportive and inspired.
